FDP was conducted on Metal Air Batteries: Electrocatalysts, Challenges and opportunities by Dr. ThandavarayanMaiyalagan. 270 participants were registered for the FDP. Dr. Parashuram L have welcomed all the dignitaries and participants. Dr. T Maiyalagan has discussed the opportunities and challenges in fabricating metal air batteries like Na and Al batteries in competition to present Li ion batteries. FDP was very interactive, many questions were raised and it stimulated scientific temper among the researchers. Dr. Anusuya Devi concluded the vote of thanks
