Road Safety and Traffic Awareness Program-STEM Club Event
Under the Department of Applied Sciences, the STEM Club organized a Road Safety and Traffic Awareness Program “Traffic 360” on December 11, 2024. This initiative aimed to educate students on critical road safety protocols and traffic regulations. Distinguished speakers from the Bangalore City Police—Mr. Sagayaraj C, Mr. Virendra Kumar, and Mr. Linganagouda Shivalli—shared their expertise on responsible driving, pedestrian behavior, and effective traffic management. They highlighted the consequences of road accidents and stressed the importance of adhering to traffic laws.
The program concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where students interacted directly with the officers to discuss traffic-related concerns and clarify their doubts. This interactive platform allowed for valuable dialogue and practical advice. Overall, the event raised awareness about road safety and inspired participants to adopt safer practices on the road.
