Expert Talk - AI for Non-Coders: Design, Content, and Creativity
The Department of Applied Sciences at NHCE organised an Expert Talk titled “AI for Non-Coders: Design, Content, and Creativity” on 09 December 2025 at the Falconry Seminar Hall. The session introduced students and faculty to AI tools that enable innovation and creativity without coding skills, aligning with NHCE’s vision of interdisciplinary learning. Dr Sivabalan N, Data Integration Specialist at NTT Data, delivered the talk, sharing his expertise in AI-driven solutions and automation. He explained how AI simplifies tasks like content creation, design, and workflow automation for non-programmers. Practical demonstrations included generating text, social media posts, and blog content using AI tools.
The session also showcased AI applications in design, such as posters, presentations, UI mockups, and digital art. Dr Sivabalan highlighted popular no-code AI platforms for text and image generation, automation, and chat-based tasks. Ethical considerations like privacy and responsible AI usage were discussed in detail.
Students actively engaged in a Q&A session on AI’s role in academics, projects, and career opportunities without coding. The event concluded by emphasising AI’s growing relevance and fostering an AI-aware academic culture at NHCE.
