Guest Talk - 4 Years to Learn, Lead and Launch Your Career

On 14th May, 2026, the Department of Applied Sciences conducted an informative guest talk by the distinguished speaker Dr. T Ram Prabhu, Scientist ‘E’ and Joint Director, DRDO, Bengaluru on the topic “4 Years to Learn, Lead and Launch Your Career” for first semester CS branch students.

The speaker explained the need for a strategic plan to shape futures in engineering careers. It was a talk beyond the classroom where employers’ expectations, various skills search in job field, communication skills were discussed. The presentation was interesting and informative with an interactive session.

The speaker gave a road map to students from first year to fourth year, and informed them about the various research and job opportunities awaiting them. A brief career guidance was given to first-year students.

Students were actively involved in Q & A session.
