World Creativity and Innovation Day
The Department of Applied Sciences, in association with NHCE-IIC, celebrated World Creativity and Innovation Day 2026 on 21 April 2026 with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to foster creativity, innovation, and design thinking among students while encouraging them to develop sustainable solutions to real-world challenges.
Students actively participated by presenting innovative models, prototypes, and project ideas across various themes. The initiative provided a vibrant platform to showcase talent, scientific thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit. Through hands-on project development, participants enhanced their creativity and practical problem-solving abilities. The event also promoted teamwork, leadership, and effective communication skills among students.
Faculty members and experts evaluated the projects and offered valuable feedback for improvement. Participants gained insights into sustainable development and the importance of innovation-driven solutions.
More than 50 students showcased their projects, reflecting a high level of engagement and enthusiasm. The presentations demonstrated interdisciplinary collaboration and application of theoretical knowledge to practical problems. The event significantly strengthened students’ confidence, analytical thinking, and presentation skills.
