An open debate competition was held on the topic “India’s Freedom Struggles and Political Tensions(Azad Amrut Mahotsav). The late nineteenth century saw the emergence of Indian nationalism. Indians felt like one and they tried to overthrow the foreign rule. This led to the Indian freedom struggle and finally independence. Considering various factual concepts, the students were given few topics to debate on and were asked to express their thoughts for and against the respective topics. The debate concluded on a successful note.
