NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY

Math Horizon and Genesis clubs of Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities, New Horizon College of Engineering celebrated 133rd Birth anniversary of the great Mathematician Sir. Srinivasa Ramanujan as “National Mathematics Day” by conducting a competition titled “CRACK THE PUZZLE” (Fun with Maths puzzles) on 22-12-2020 at 3.30 P.M for the first year B.E students via online. Dr. Srinivasa G. Professor and Head-Mathematics motivated the students by his informative speech about the importance of Mathematics. The life history of the great legend and his contributions was highlighted by a student Harshitha P. and 174 students participated actively in the event and a good number of students scored full marks. Students were encouraged by getting e-certificates for the same.
