CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The Department of Applied Sciences, in association with NHCE-IIC, observed National Pollution Control Day on 05 January 2026 to promote environmental awareness and sustainable innovation among students. The event encouraged participants to develop creative, technology-driven solutions to address environmental challenges and pollution control.

Students presented innovative ideas through posters, models, IoT-based concepts, and solution-oriented presentations with enthusiasm. The programme provided a platform to foster scientific thinking, sustainability, and responsible environmental practices. Through active participation, students enhanced their awareness of pollution-related issues and the importance of effective mitigation strategies.

The event also strengthened research aptitude, creativity, communication, presentation, and analytical skills. Expert evaluators offered valuable feedback, enabling participants to refine their ideas and enhance their technical understanding. Students gained practical exposure to innovation-driven approaches for environmental protection and sustainability.

The projects on display reflected strong problem-solving abilities and a growing appreciation for green technologies.
