The Department of Basic science and Humanities – Mathematics has conducted a national webinar titled “SPECTRUM OF MATHEMATICS IN NATURE” on 1st August 2020 from 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM. The speaker for the webinar was Dr. Dinesh P. A., Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. The session was very interesting and informative which included a detailed PowerPoint and figurative descriptions by the speaker about usefulness of mathematics in vide range of natural aspects, such as sports, natural falls, galaxy etc. The webinar was highly resourceful for over 180 faculty participants from various educational institutions across the country.
