On the occasion of National Science Day (28-02-2020), in respect of Sir C V Raman, first year students of New Horizon College of Engineering were taken to “Raman Research Institute” where the Nobel Laureate Sir C V Raman dedicated his whole life.

The students attended a feature presentation based on the biography of “The Three Quantum Heroes- S N Bose, Saha and C V Raman” which inspired the young minds. A visit to “CV Raman Museum” was also a part of the visit where the students learnt different phenomenon pertaining to light and crystals explored by C V Raman. A widespread lively scientific demonstrations related to Astrophysics, Soft and condensed matter physics, Electronics, Light and matter physics- ignited the scientific temper in the first year students.
